Hazel Border Collie Young Female in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia

My story
Hazel was returned to the shelter after being in her new home for only a short time.  The couple baby sat their 6mos old and 3 year old grandchildren and they felt Hazel didn't understand the noises and activity of a busy toddler and felt she would do better in a home with less activity.  She was curious about these little guys but was never aggressive with either of the children.  As the owner stated to us, "She stole our hearts in a short amount of time."

Hazel will make an wonderful companion for someone who is patient and kind and willing to do a little training.  The owner also said when she darted out of the house once, he called her and she came right back.  Hazel is spayed and up to date with her shots.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hazel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
